The blog’s name was inspired by Rosie, my Bernedoodle doggie, who is my constant companion in the kitchen. Rosie follows me around the kitchen and often lays at my feet while I cook. She is my eager taste-tester for both savory and sweet recipes and particularly loves anything with bacon in it!

Cooking for me is both relaxing and creative. As I became more confident in my kitchen skills, I started to create my own recipes or a new take on a tried-and-true recipe.
